About Our Studio
Infinity Aerial was opened in 2007 by owner Valerie Schrader. After spending years working for large gyms and other studios she felt it was time to create her own unique space that emphasized both physical and mental health and give people of all walks of life a place to find and loose themselves. Valerie started by renting space hourly around Columbus for the first few years and then expanding into larger spaces to bring us where we are today.

What People Say
I LOVE Infinity Aerial! I have been taking classes for about a month now and it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. I’ve only been taking aerial silks classes and have only had Val and Kayla as instructors so far and they have both been wonderful. They don’t make you feel bad if you can’t physically do something yet. They work with you to make modifications that suit you. They encourage me to do things I don’t believe I can do because they know I am able to do it. Before I came in I was nervous about being embarrassed if I couldn’t do something and I was worried about my fitness level, but these classes leave me feeling empowered, strong and determined! I am extremely pleased with my experience at Infinity Aerial so far and can’t wait to see what they will help me accomplish in the future!
I have been taking classes at Infinity Aerial since February and I am so happy that I did not let my initial fears stop me before I got started. I had no dance or athletic background or ability of any kind and I was so worried that I wouldn’t be able to accomplish anything and that the instructors might be kind of judgmental. I have taken classes with Kayla, Val, and Michelle, and they are all incredibly knowledgeable and super supportive — you can tell that they want to see you improve and succeed just as much as you do. They are willing to work with you at your level without criticism, but they also help you to really push yourself and grow and recognize your progress; even if I feel like I’ve had a horrible class or I get frustrated by being hung up on a particular move, they help me to remember the other things I’ve already overcome in classes so I don’t burn out. All of my friends who have come to class with me completely understand why I talk all the time about how much I love going there. I love spending time at Infinity Aerial because I always leave feeling graceful and strong and really, really cool!
Coming to Infinity Aerial has been one of the best choices I have made when it comes to trying something new. I learned about aerial while working on a cruise ship and by luck the studio was located just a few minutes from my house. I went in with the expectation of I’ll try this a few times and see if I can do it. I have no dance or gymnastics background and was worried I would not be able to learn the movements properly. I never thought that it would open up a new career path for me. Val and Kayla have been incredible to work with. They push me to become stronger, more flexible, and always learn something new. I have not gone to a single class since March that I haven’t learned something new. I would recommend this to anyone regardless of their strength or flexibility level especially if you want to exercise without going to a gym or running.
I always wanted to try pole dancing but was concerned about going to a typical gym where everyone was judgemental. I was concerned that would sign up for classes then come to realize that I was being compared to others physically. This is not the case with Infinity Aerial. Taking a class here is like taking goofing around with your best friends. We do something silly we all laugh but encourage to do it again. Once we accomplish a skill we all celebrate. The instructors know how to push you past your comfort zone in a positive way. Through classes I have gained confidence in myself physically and mentally.
I’ve been going to this studio for 2 years, and looking back its an experience I never thought I would have. I took my first aerial classes with a friend just for fun, and to break up the monotony of basic gym routines. After a few classes I fell in love. I like having a way of working out that’s fun and pretty, and let’s be honest, impressive. While I may not be a professional, the moves I’ve learned in class are pretty awesome. On top of that, I’ve made a good group of new friends, and being an awkward engineer, sometimes that’s hard to do. So if you are looking for a fun and exciting way to exorcise in a non judgement zone, Infinity Aerial is the place.
I started taking silks classes back in July and I can’t be happier! I have taken classes from several instructors and all of them have explained the moves and choreography well. I have had prior dance experience and have started to go to the gym on regular basis which does help me, BUT anyone can learn and excel in this art. And the more times you practice, the better you’ll get! Signing up for classes is easy via the app or online. So far, I have a great time every class and I recommend the studio to anyone who’s looking to try a new hobby.
